Allen Meadows - Score: 89-92 (2023 January)

Moderate reduction is sufficient to dominate the nose today. Otherwise, there is almost painful intensity to the sleek medium-bodied flavors that also conclude in a slightly lean and decidedly austere finale. Here too the leanness is exacerbated by the high level of gas so I suspect that this too will better harmonize with time in bottle though with that said, I doubt that it will ever be seductive either.
